Reassign a ticket to another project

The project that a ticket is assigned is set when a ticket is created. If you have manager access to the project or or you are the creator of the ticket it is possible to reassign an existing ticket to another project. If the ticket assigned user does not have access to the new project, the ticket user will be set to “not assigned”.

To reassign a ticket to another project:
  1. Open the ticket page by clicking on a link to the ticket.
  2. Click the edit this ticket cog ) icon at the top right of the main section of the page. This will open the Edit Ticket dialogue.
  3. Select the required project in the Project field.
  4. Click the update button. The ticket will be assigned to the new project.

Permissions Required: Access to both projects and manager access to the project that the ticket currently belongs to, or creator access to the ticket.
