To update the ticket state:
- Open the ticket page by clicking on a link to the ticket. The current ticket state is shown in the leftmost of three select controls shown below the new note field in the Update ticket tab ( pencil ) on the right panel of the ticket page.
- Select the new state from the list of available states in the select control.
- Click the update ticket button to save the change. The ticket state will be changed and a ticket change item added to the ticket showing the new state and the time of the change.
Permissions required: Manager or Developer permissions to the project.
Users with admin access can update the list of available ticket states on the Admin – Status Labels page.
